These SMS Messaging Terms (“SMS Terms”) govern the text messaging program offered by Hendrick Automotive Group, Hendrick Autoguard, Inc., Hendrick Motorsports and each of their respective affiliates, including HMS Holdings, LLC (collectively, “Hendrick”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These SMS Terms supplement, and are in addition to, Hendrick’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By opting in to receive text messages from Hendrick, you agree to these SMS Terms.
When you opt in to the Hendrick text messaging program, Hendrick and the Hendrick dealership with which you do business may send you recurring text messages relating to your vehicle and your relationship with us. These may include appointment scheduling and reminders, service status and vehicle pick-up updates, responses to questions you submit to us, documents or information you request, sales and financing follow-up, and — where you have separately consented to receive them — promotional offers and marketing messages.
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide in order to opt in to the Hendrick text messaging program. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are authorized to consent to receive text messages at that number.
Hendrick sends text messages only to individuals who have opted in to receive them. You may opt in by:

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Hendrick. You may decline to receive text messages, or opt out at any time, and still purchase, lease, or service a vehicle with us.
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how you interact with Hendrick — for example, how many service appointments you schedule or how many inquiries you submit to us.
Message and data rates may apply. Hendrick does not charge you for text messages, but standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to each message you send or receive. Any such charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for the details of your plan.
Reply HELP to any Hendrick text message for assistance. You may also contact us using the support information below.
You may revoke your consent and opt out of text messages at any time and by any reasonable means. The easiest way is to reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT to any Hendrick text message. After you opt out, we will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from that program unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us using the support information below. We honor opt-out requests within ten (10) business days.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other communications, such as e-mail. To opt out of Hendrick marketing communications generally, see the Opt-Out section of our Privacy Policy or use the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier, network reliability, and device capabilities. Hendrick cannot guarantee that any particular message will be delivered, and you should not rely on text messages for urgent or time-sensitive matters.
Information collected through our messaging program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that support the delivery and operation of our text messaging program.

Hendrick may change these SMS Terms. Please take a look at the “Effective” date at the top of this page to see when these SMS Terms were last revised. Any changes will become effective when Hendrick posts the revised SMS Terms. By continuing to participate in the Hendrick text messaging program following these changes, you accept the revised SMS Terms.
